It is God who ordains our lives, even before we come into the world. He knew us before conception, He knits us while in the womb and divinely ordains a purpose unto every person.

God’s Presence with us

The presence of God bears significant impact in a believer’s life. As can be seen in the lives of many people in the Bible, great feats were achieved with God’s presence. Think of Joseph who though imprisoned, God orchestrated his rise in Egypt, Moses with all the signs and wonders, Joshua who led the Israelites to many conquests, David who conquered Goliath and led Israel in God’s ways. Christ promised a helper, the Holy Spirit, to be with us at all times.

When we abide in Christ, He abides in us as well, and both the Father and the Spirit dwell in us. We therefore walk in boldness and courage, devoid of fear.

The presence of God is fulfilling to the believer. Man was created to dwell forever in the presence of God. In His presence is an abundance of peace and fullness of joy.

Being in the presence of God spurs faith in us, driving away fear. Furthermore, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of a power, love and a sound mind.
