Ariel Fitz’s Journey to First Popular Christian Reel
Ariel Fitz’s venture into making Christian reels can be traced back to her childhood days, when her dad would act out Bible stories before bedtime. It turns out her dad isn’t only a preacher, but he’s well cut out for performing arts too.
Ariel reminisces on an Instagram post of the drama, props and sound effects on her dad used on his Bible story skits.
Much later in 2020 during the lockdown, Ariel Fitz borrowed a leaf from her dad’s art, and began making Christian themed reels. However, this was not her first stunt on the socials. Ariel had been vlogging on YouTube for a while. Just before she turned to Christian reels, she was vlogging on hair tutorials on YouTube. Everyone begins from someplace, right?
Her trajectory took a real turn upwards when she posted a parody reel for the famous lie “Babe I can’t live without you”.
She considers this as the reel that started it all. Since then, her following on TikTok has gathered pace, growing into 2.9 million from a mere 50,000 followers. On Instagram, Ariel boasts of 800k plus followers.
