One of the things I most admire my mother for is how close she is to her sister, my auntie.
They call each other, laugh together over the phone and share a lot. And they do it everyday.
I could spend a week without calling my brother, sorry brother mine, I’ll try better.
So, I wonder how life was for mother and auntie when they were young. They must have been very close, bonded together by everyday events. Must be the reason they’re still great friends. Yeah, maybe.
For some reason, I do not understand why a sister bond can be so much stronger than any other sibling bond. Yet sometimes it could be the most complicated one.
Having shared a home, same parents, meals and chores, there must have been a significant connection developed. This connection is still strong enough today.
I believe there is more to this than the little I have shared here.
Please be kind enough to suggest in the comments why a sister bond stays for life. I would really love to know!
